Prima J

Pop duo Prima J feature the singing and dancing talents of cousins Jessica and Janelle Martinez. Raised in Rosemead, CA, the pair were encouraged to perform for their families from a young age, a passion they carried into their teens. Introduced to former Wild Orchid member Stefanie Ridel by singer Nikki Flores, Ridel mentored the duo and helped develop their dance-pop sound and live act. After Prima J were signed to Geffen Records, their debut single, "Rockstar," was featured on the Bratz motion picture soundtrack in 2007.
