Rust Epique, lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for V2 Records band "pre)Thing" was in bed with his wife when he died on Tuesday from a heart attack at his home in Las Vegas. Epique was 36. pre)Thing’s debut album, 22nd Century Lifestyle, was released on April 6. What makes the tragedy even greater is that the single from the album “Faded Love” has been one of the most added tracks at Active Rock Radio two weeks in a row and continues to pick up new fans each week. V2 President, Andy Gershon, issued the following statement "This is a sad day for all of us at V2. Rust will be sorely missed. Not only was he an incredibly talented musician but a friend to us all.
