Adjunct members of the Cologne dance music scene, Italy's Gianluca Pallotta and Fabio Padovan produce together under the name Oxtongue. The duo released a two-track 12" on Traum in 2002, but it didn't gain too much attention until that label's chief, Triple R, included "Delight" in his Friends mix, which was released later that year on Kompakt. The following year, Kompakt tapped the track to be the basis of their first release on the Kompakt Pop sublabel; the original mix of "Delight" was reintroduced as the A-side, while remixes were provided by Benjamin Diamond and Voigt & Voigt on the B-side. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
