New9000 & DonD knew each other since childhood through Don’s cousin
Don’s Mother sung in New9000’s fathers band in 70’s
New9000 started making beats in 2000
New9000 later introduced DonD into production 2004
Both Started on Fruity Loops
Production team was then known as NewEra Prodcutions
They thrived off of Youtube Videos and Soundclick, Had many fans
2007 New9000 attended Full Sail University after graduating he worked at Circle House Studios in Mia as an assistant engineer
He returned to CT in 2009 and went on to working at Quad Studios in NY
Both not being financially beneficial due to increase of technology and home studios, Big Studios weren’t needed and neither were many engineers without notable credits
Don shortly after returned graduating from NCCU (9th wonder as teacher) and they continued to produce.
In 2010(11) They spotted a placement for Trademark Da Skydiva (Jets) Issue 2 release. Production was used for the Intro and Outro tracks
Later that year they worked on a joint collab ep (Nemotional) with 88 key’s Locksmith artist Nemo Achida from KY Lead single being “Stoop Music”
They have also produced numerous albums for artist Left Leberra
Meanwhile they were artist themselves along with childhood friend Rod Fuego
2009- Present they’ve released 3 projects under the group handle (Northern Lights) both emceeing along with producing
Also they’ve released 2 instrumental albums
They are now working on collabs with other artists and producers such as (Kari Faux, Himself the Majestic, Western Tink, SPVCE, Nemo Achida, King Vada, etc)
