Pop/rockers Nerve Circus have picked up a regional following for their explosive live shows. Based in Rochester, NY, the band -- comprising vocalist/guitarist Tom Gately, drummer Steve Gissin and bassist Gaetano Abbate -- self-released their first album, Just Relax, and moved to the Prolific label for 1995's Filth. The band toured supporting Crash Test Dummies, Fugazi, Sponge and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, among others. Gissin and Gately also play in Astropimp. ~ John Bush, Rovi
