Over the summer of 2012, N.A. released his second project Love. Compromise. Lies. Hustle. which received national recognition from the leaders in independent music websites, 2dopeboyz.com. After multiple sites followed in their footsteps and the response to the project was positive, MTV’s web based hip-hop lifestyle show Rapfix Live reached out to N.A.’s team to feature him on a “Get in The Game” segment during their show taped out of New York. MTV veteran Sway Calloway is the host of the show, and for that scheduled day the featured guest, Prodigy (of Mobb Deep), was quick to say he “wants to sign” N.A. after seeing a short clip of his lead single off of LCLH, Sheep and Wolf. With this response it was clear that N.A. was creating music his listeners and peers could relate to.
In the fall of 2012 N.A. ventured out to his hometown of Brooklyn New York and performed at a showcase organized by The Source. Being able to perform in his home in front of friends and family was only something he had dreamed of happening, and only motivated him to push that much harder to reach the status of a successful artist.
