About the song, lead singer Daniel Blue says:
"I've always been impressed by how different a room or a backyard can feel just by changing the lighting. I think people are like that too, we seem to be governed by the light or lack thereof. When I was young I would wear a tie in daylight to sell frames to rich people at the Bellevue Square Mall. At night I would strip out of my monkey suit and transform like a super hero into a giant pair of Jnco jeans and some slutty anime t-shirt. In my costume I could twirl the night away as anyone I wanted, dancing under the moon under the roof of some warehouse that also served a completely different purpose in the daytime. This song goes out to all the lost children finding themselves in the dim black-light freakout of dance-floors around the world".
