Oahu, Hawaii ~ Miss Amani was born Adriana Marie Sims on August 13, 1987, and at the age of five, took up hula, jazz and hip hop dance, under the guidance of her mother, Lena. She quickly realized her passion to perform, often dancing for hours at a time. Her fire for music was set ablaze once she joined her church and school choir. By 8, she formed her own female R&B group known as J.A.G. (Janelle, Adriana, and Glenda), and experienced some of her best childhood memories performing for her school every Friday, before leaving the island. Beuna Park, California ~ Miss Amani joined her high school dance team, played basketball, and ran track. She was even chosen to sing the Star Spangled Banner at her graduation. Immediately following graduation, she was accepted to the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), where she studied the art of performance, including; on-camera and stage acting, vocal and speech training, ballet, tap and more, before graduating. Polished with an education, church choir roots, and an affinity for performance, Miss Amani felt she was ready for the big time. Judging by her growing entertainment career in Las Vegas, NV which includes working as World Famous Pussycat Doll, almost one million hits on YouTube, music placements on top shows such as MTV JERSEY SHORE and CSI:MIAMI and such top networks as CBS, ABC, MTV, VH1, The CW, and also landing on the soundtrack of box office success from Diary of A Wimpy Kid 2 and Monte Carlo, she is definitely on to something epic.
