Milosh is an alias of Mike Milosh, a downtempo electronica singer/songwriter from Toronto affiliated with the label Plug Research. A musician for nearly his entire life, Milosh began his music career at a young age, learning cello at age three; years later, he studied drums and voice in college and played in numerous bands ranging in style from jazz to rock. He made his recording debut in 2004 with the full-length album You Make Me Feel on the Northridge, CA-based experimental electronica label Plug Research. The album's unique mix of tender singer/songwriter bedsit music with intricately produced downtempo electronica garnered Milosh plenty of commentary, even if some of it amounted simply to puzzlement. His second album, Meme (2006), garnered even more commentary, much of it positive, including high-profile reviews in fashionable webzines such as Pitchfork and Pop Matters.
