If you ask Mike Williams to explain his sound and purpose for creating his songs, he would say, "Music is in my blood. It's just what I was born to do!" The singer/songwriter has already had success with a rock band named Black Sunday that was featured on dates of the Vans Warped Tour, sold music to the CW network, and was heard on shows such as TMZ & the Tyra Banks Show. You could also hear some of his work on the TBS movies; Mask, starring Cher, & Varsity Blues, starring James Van Der Beek. Mike credits hard work and persistence to what he was able to achieve in the previous years. With a fire burning even stronger to continue his journey as a musician, he has now decided to shift gears and play the music that he was bred to play; country music. Country music and the Williams name is very synonymous and it lives on through current artists, but Mike plans to keep the name going with himself and will eventually call Nashville his home. Growing up in small town Kentucky, his father was a minister like several other great artists you love today. Gospel music roots go hand in hand with country music and Mike takes full advantage of this. With an ear for catchy hooks and a knack for fusing all of his musical influences, his debut album is awaited by many. "The Williams name in the country music world is royalty! I just want to add a new chapter and honor the name that put country music on the forefront!"
