Based in Philadelphia, award-winning vocalist/songwriter/musician Melissa VanFleet has enchanted audiences in venues internationally with her seasoned and consistent voice, unmistakable tone and passionate delivery. In addition to her ability to effortlessly play multiple instruments by ear, she has been recognized for her dark moving melodies, intense lyrics, and her eclectic spin on a vast array of music. She possesses the rare ability to adapt to any atmosphere while staying true to herself stylistically. With influences ranging from classical to metal, she has powerfully and effectively created her own unique sound and has proven that she only needs a piano and a microphone to captivate listeners. Following the success of Melissa's debut EP "Stars In My Eyes" in 2012, the overwhelmingly positive reception of her acoustic piano versions of metal songs led her in the direction of her newest album, "Metal Lullabies", available now. In April 2015 she completed her first European tour and performed on the Full Metal Cruise II presented by Wacken. Melissa also fronts the indie electronic duo COPPÉLIA and plans to tour internationally with both acts in 2016. Whether as Melissa VanFleet or with COPPÉLIA, her distinct voice shines and her dedication, perseverance, experiential knowledge, and mindset toward the always-changing music business confirms that she is a true artist with staying power.
