Like a rock-oriented version of the Pussycat Dolls, Ladylike is a contemporary girl group comprised of four striking vocalists. KSU Studios, an entertainment company headquartered in Malaysia, assembled the group in 2008, hoping to create a product that would expand the company's international profile. Stockholm natives Miranda Hortlund, Valerie Wigart, Louise Tomassino, and Isabelle Filling were chosen from a talent pool of 600 aspiring musicians, and the group began recording an album with KRU's in-house composer, Edry Abdul Halim. Featuring updated, English-language versions of songs that had previously been released in several Asian countries, Ladylike's self-titled debut was released in 2009. ~ Andrew Leahey, Rovi
