Kyle Harvey was born in a small Los Angeles neighborhood known as Reseda. At the age of six, he began singing and listening to a range of artists from Micheal Jackson to Stevie Wonder. In elementary school, he already began writing his own songs and performing for his school. At the young age of 10, Kyle truly became interested in hip-hop music. That very year, Kyle met a soon to be lifelong friend Charles "Mr. Man" Anderson who is now his rapping 'partner' in his venture into the professional music realm. Kyle started to experiment with rapping at this point and merged his singing abilities with rapping. He is often referenced as "sounding like Drake" because of his new take on rap, though he denies the reference as many rappers today are evolving into and adapting the mix of pure vocal singing bind with rapping and a unique hip hop sound.
