independant artists alike. Such talent can be found in Pasadena native singer/ songwriter, Kree.
Since singing in his grandfather's church early on, Kree knew music was in his blood. Performing in school plays & starring in several musical's, Kree found out about the importance stage awareness and presence. He was also a member of a Singing Quartet known as "Smooth Harmony." Shortly after graduating from high school, Kree joined the US army for 3 years in Fort Stewart Georgia, as a mechanic.
Eager to return to California to pursue his passion for music, he purchased a computer and bought
recording software then began recording his first ever independantly produced mixtape "R & Kree" in
late 2002, as a nod to his unique delivery of R&B/Rap.
Returning to California in the Spring of 2005, Kree had a chance meeting with Godfather of Latin Rap,
the living legend, Kid Frost. Frost introduced Kree to his then teenage son, Scoop Deville. Since then,
Kree has worked with numerous artists in music ranging in every genre from Rap to Country. Artists such
as E-40, Ray J, Ginuwine, Ras Kass, David Banner, and Snoop Dogg, just to name a few; have
embraced his uniquely original vocal tones to capture the essence remenicent of the legendary late
great, Nate Dogg.
In May 2012, Kree showcased his ability to stand out amongst top heavy weights in the music industry,
highlighted on David Banner's "Sex Drugs & Video Games" album (released independently)by featuring single "Californication."
This year he features on "What It Iz" by Deadly Hash featuring none other than Bay area's finest, E-40. The song is out NOW on iTunes with the video soon to follow.
