Kenneth Slowik is an American cellist, viol player, and conductor, Curator of the Division of Music, Sports and Entertainment at the National Museum of American History and Artistic Director of the Smithsonian Chamber Music Society.
He has appeared in hundreds of concerts with SCMS ensembles and made over fifty recordings for Dorian, Deutsche Harmonia Mundi and other labels; some have won France's Diapason d'Or for Chamber Music, Germany's Alte Musik Actuell's Record of the Year, and other similar prizes.
