KayGeni

On the 19th of September 1988 Kendra Genique Beneby, now known as KayGeni was born. At a very young age, she and her family moved from Nassau to Freeport Grand Bahama where spent most of her life. Kendra was always interested in being on stage and took part in everything she could with the encouragement of her Mother and Grandmother. While in primary school, Kendra joined the school choir. The first time she performed with her school choir she knew she belonged on the stage. Her first real musical venture was when she started a girl band called "Demure" with her younger sister, and three other child hood friends. The group didn't last, but Kendra's dream of being on stage lived on. During summers with her father, she and her siblings would put together productions for the whole family. After Graduating High school in 2005 and relocating to Nassau, she won Miss Teen Bahamas and was involved in a number of talent shows. Kendra has become one of the top models in The Bahamas. After years of success as a model, she decided to focus more on her true passion as a musician. Kendra used her first and middle name to form her stage name. Kay, from Kendra and Geni from Genique. She has performed on stages all around the world from Australia to America and The Bahamas. KayGeni continues to work on her craft and is positive what she has to offer will make her main stream. She not only has amazing talent, but drive and a personality to match.
