Chris Hodges, better known to his growing fan base as "K-1", is the CEO of one of Midwest's fast growing labels called Lethal Cartel Records. Before becoming the successful businessman that he is, growing up music has been a huge influence in his life. At a very young age K-1 took his writing and music seriously; and his passion for music and strong determination to build a name for himself and his company eventually landed him a worldwide distribution deal with Koch Entertainment in 2008. Through his deal, K-1 took the industry by storm with his album Getting this Money in 2008 that has generated huge recognition due to high volumes of digital downloads and ringtones. The success of his 2008 album lead K-1 to travel the country performing shows coast to coast with greats such as Nelly, KRS 1, Snoop Dog, and Jeezy, generating an even larger following. To date, K-1 is releasing an album called Skies da Limit with features from Charlie Wilson, and Murda Mook, just to name a few. It is rumored that this album has the potential to be a classic. Aside from his music success, K-1's record label is taking over the Midwest. There is nothing stopping K-1 and Lethal Cartel Records from becoming one of the greats in Hip Hop. During the year of 2011, Lethal Cartel Records started an underground movement titled "AINT NOTHING YOU CAN DO WITH US" which includes many artist and companies world wide from the East coast to the West coast. This movement shows the leadership of the label LETHAL CARTEL RECORDS is making their own way in the music industry.
