J.T. Money is a 25 year veteran in the music business. He started as the front man of the Miami based rap group Poison Clan on Luke Records. Poison Clan released 3 Lps on Luke Records : 2 Low Life Muthas, Poisonous Mentality, & RuffTown Behavior. Poison Clan has had some commercial success with such classic singles as "Shake What Ya Momma Gave Ya" & "Dance All Night". J.T. Money & Poison Clan are pioneers in Southern Hip-Hop. The group disbaned in 1995 after the release of their 4th & final Lp entitld Straight Zooism.
After a 3 year hiatus JT Money resurfaced in Atlanta where he connected with Tony Mercedes, Dallas Austin, & Tricky Stewart. They inked a deal between Dallas' Free World Entertainment & Capitol/Priority Records bringing forth the classic & 1st solo Lp from the now Legendary J.T. Money entitled Pimpin On Wax! Which produced the 1999 Billboard Award #1 Rap Single of the year "Who Dat" which featured Sole'. In 2001 he released Blood Sweat & Years which produced the hit single "Hi-Lo" which appears in the movies "All About The Benjamins" & "The New Guy".
Since then J.T. Money has released 2 independent albums, Return Of The B-izer, & The Undeniable spawning such classic singles as "Chevy Game" & "Run Da Yard".
J.T. Money is still a presence in the rap game. He also has 4 mixtapes out on datpiff.com. Currently he has a new deal in the works & is in the process of creating another masterpiece called "Pimpin Gangsta Party". PGP is sure to be a classic full of those bangers J.T. Money is known for!
