Chris Robinson (born September 30th, 1990), better known by his stage name 'Jpeace The Great' is an American hip-hop artist, songwriter, graphic designer, and camera operator. Jpeace is a member of Tru Star Moment along with founder Flash Wilks. Growing up, Jpeace played in many different sports including football, basketball, and track and field in addition to krump dancing and dramatic plays throughout high school. Jpeace was introduced to music at a young age, inspired by his mother who also was a songwriter. When Jpeace reached the age of 15 he began writing and recording his own music successfully completing two solo mixtapes in addition to four group mixtapes. After releasing a number of mixtapes, Jpeace is in the works of his new EP, Word of Honor.
For Las Vegas rising star, Jpeace plans on showing the outside hip hop world that Vegas has talent by continuing his aspiration as an hip hop artist. Jpeace describe his music as inspiring and also fun. “I write music off of how I feel. Some days I will feel like writing an educational song and some days I feel like writing a hype song. I know music affects how we all act in life so I like to spread the positivity but at the same time have fun doing it.”
Although, finishing college is one of his main priorities, Jpeace continues to put his hard work and dedication into his music. This 23 year old multitalented individual gains his motivation through God and believes that all his accomplishments are due to his faith. “I follow a code of confidence. I do not feel like I am limited to anything on this earth except of what Allah wills me of unable of doing. I believe knowledge is the key to success because we only do the things we have knowledge of. But the more you educate yourself the more you have access to new things. I also read a lot because I believe reading is the key to knowledge. Just think about it, everything from math to English is taught from a book.” As Jpeace plans on becoming the next big thing in the entertainment world, he understands the duration of success and remains patient through his love of music.
