Mixing and matching tones with words, smashing melodies together with poetry, Joe Sibol has been writing songs ever since he picked up a four track in college. Raised on the East Coast, in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New York, Joe moved out west to join up with fellow songwriters and played shows up and down the California coast. Joe crashed on sofas and floors and worked odd jobs as a gardner in order to delve into his music and develop his songs more. Some say that Sibol's music can be categorized according to which coast he wrote it on, while others say the songs have more to do with the girl he was pining for at the time. Either way, Joe Sibol's songs chase magic. Recently Joe has teamed up with producer Johannes Luley (Los Amigos Invisibles, The Mermen, Wonderlick) and Creeper Lagoon's Sharky Laguana and the three have embarked on a full length album of great pop songs. Stay tuned, that album will be out soon. And, if you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, keep a look out for Joe. He will be playing solo acoustic shows in the upcoming months.
