My name is James Crouch, and I am a Florida-based guitarist; my musical specialties are primarily rock and blues, and I have been performing this sort of music live for over four decades. However, my overall repertoire is rather diversified and includes folk, flamenco, metal, and progressive, all of which I have recorded in studios and performed before live audiences. In the past I played live music with oldies acts such as The Tokens and others. Beyond that, I have also composed and recorded various types of music that are suitable for use in multimedia productions as soundtracks.
I opened up for Eddie Money in Daytona Beach, Florida on February 4th of 2012, and played another series of gigs in various venues of Daytona Beach during the Bikeweek 2012 festival. I was also regularly to be found working as a guitarist/producer at Full Sail University, an activity that has been ongoing since about 2000. In this setting, I have recorded various types of music as well as having participated in the production of music videos. In my spare time, I also teach guitar lessons to various students.

“Eric Clapton has had his territory invaded again, this time by blues guitarist Jim Crouch…The great thing about Liberty is that it’s just as much rock as blues-total collaboration, so don’t worry about getting depressed. It’ll lift ya’ - Ben Ohmart - Assistant Editor - Musicdish.com.
“Crouch is a forceful guitar man that has his chops down, and so do his band mates and the various guests that appear on this project…at times he rips off some impressive licks reminiscent of Clapton or Stevie Ray…On the instrumental “Serenity,” Crouch and his crackerjack band exercise a marvelous display of sharp-as-a-razor six-string dexterity with a tip of the hat to all the great blues-rock players that have come and gone, and they do it beautifully.”......Keith “MuzikMan” Hannaleck - Jazzreview.com.
