Jake Miller (born on November 28, 1992 in Washington D.C.) is an American rapper, singer, musician and songwriter from Weston, Florida. He is currently attending the University of Miami. In high school the multi-talented musician who taught himself to play the drums and guitar put out a few homemade music videos on YouTube, which gained him industry attention.

Miller taught himself to play piano, drums, and guitar at a young age, skills which he has included in his music career. During his high school years, he released several homemade videos on YouTube. In March 2011, Miller performed his first live show, opening for rapper Snoop Dogg in Pompano Beach, Florida. Shortly after, he opened for rapper Mac Miller in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In May 2011, Miller won the Samsung and T-Mobile USA national "Kick it With the Band" talent competition. As a grand prize winner, Miller was awarded $35,000 to use for his music career as well as a video with YouTube sensation Keenan Cahill. Jake performed alongside Flo Rida, Sean Kingston, and Asher Roth at the "Think Pink Rocks" concert in West Palm Beach, Florida, in November 2011. The event benefitted breast cancer awareness and was sponsored by Steve Rifkind and SRC Records. In December 2011, Jake performed at the annual Y-100 Jingle Ball concert along with Cody Simpson and We the Kings. Miller performed live at the Orange Drive Miami Beach Music Festival on New Year's Eve 2011, in which Jason Derulo, Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo, Gym Class Heroes and Cobra Starship also performed. On March 11, 2012, Jake performed on both the Planet Pit Stage and Power 96 Stage at the famed Calle Ocho Festival in Miami, in front of an estimated crowd of 200,000+. In September, Miller performed with Austin Mahone and Sammy Adams at the Y-100 Pep Rally in Miami.
Miller released his EP Spotlight on July 29, 2012. A single from the EP, "What I Wouldn't Give" played on radio across the country including SiriusXM Radio's Top 20 on 20 (Channel 3) and ranked near the top 50 on the Top 40 Radio chart. Miller has also released music videos for most songs off his EP including "Day Without Your Love" and "Runnin".
Miller draws his musical inspiration from a wide range of artists including Drake, Macklemore, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, John Mayer and Jack Johnson.
On January 16, 2013, Miller signed with E1 Music.
