Young King was born in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 10, 1990. Being born in a large city as a kid, helped shape his perspective on life and change the way he thought. His mother, being his number one mentor, helped him over the years and shaped him into becoming a hard working, independent, and confident man. In life, his stepfather, before he laid to rest, taught him everything there was to know about being a man and living life the way he should. He gets most of the credit for who Young King is today. His grandmother, also being a huge influence in his life, taught him that he was what he makes of himself, which motivates him to be the best. With the support and guidance from his loved ones, Young King has become who he is today.
At 15 years old, Young King began to rap. It was always something that came so natural to him. It was his escape from the world. Young King began writing down his raps in notebooks to keep track of his music. It wasn’t until he was 18 when he began to record his music in a studio.
After his first mixtape, #KINGOFHEARTS, was dropped on datpiff.com he was recognized by an independent record label, IMMERSLO Records. Justin Sloyer, Young King’s manager and owner of IMMERSLO Records, helped jump-start his career. IMMERSLO Records has given Young King opportunities to perform for a live audience, feature in a magazine, appear on FM radio stations and have his album, King of Hearts: #BIPOLARLOVE, for sale on iTunes. These are a few things that Young King has been doing to advance in his rap career.
Young King feels as though he has what it takes to be the next best rap artist. “There is no one who has the motivation, perception, and confidence on what hip hop and rap can really be in this world, at least no one whom I have come across,” states Young King. He believes that he will be the artist who can bring everyone under the hip-hop umbrella and have people accept rap as a modern day art.
Being 100% real is something that Young King finds to be an essential trait in his rap career. His ultimate goal is to be able to show the world that you can be a talented man and maintain good morals to put together hot music, and be successful. “I will show the world it is possible to be successful being me,” quotes Young King.
Young King would like to thank all of his family and friends who have kept him focused. Along with a special shout out to all of his fans who have supported him from the beginning. But most importantly, Young King would like to thank God for all that He has blessed him with thus far, and for what is to come.

Dre Carter comes from Pemberton in South Jersey. He is 18 years old. “I was always into poetry/music growing up because it helped me express my feeling. I got serious with my "rap career" when I turned 15 and my brother LaRon was murdered. That's my inspiration, my motivation, my drive to never quit until I feel like I accomplished what I needed to with this rap thing.” One of his goals is to bring the feeling back in music, and bring inspiration to the youth. You hear a lot of new rap and it's hot for sometime but it'll be forgotten in a couple weeks. He strives to have that Tupac - changes feel or that Biggie Smalls - hypnotized vibe. Something you’re never going to forget! Another goal of his is to start a label of my own one day, and such for actual talent! People who love the music like he does and doesn’t want just fame and money, but who actually want to make a difference. The biggest show he has done yet was probably with the New Boyz, but he does, do a lot of gigs. Dre Carter has dropped 2 solo mix tapes. “It's a series I started called "Catch Me If You Can (Part 1 & 2).” Be sure to Google those and look me up on YouTube, twitter @DreCarterBaby, and Facebook. Dre has dreams of being the next Pac, Diddy, Biggie & Jay z all in one. He wants to be the difference in hip hop/rap today. “I want to be more than a rapper or an artist. I want to make a big change in the world of music and I know I can do it.”
Hip Hop artist Rey Jimenez, also known as Lil Rey, was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. In seventh grade he began writing poetry, which is where he first started rhyming. In eleventh grade after watching a Drake documentary, Lil Rey got inspired to become a rapper. By his senior year of high school, he posted rap videos on YouTube. It was then that he started to make a name locally. His videos got him into the studio where he recorded eight songs. In his sophomore year of college, Lil Rey signed a contract to an Independent Rap Label called ImmerSLO Records. His debut mix tape Copybook Dreams is in the middle of production and will be released soon. As stated earlier, Drake inspired him to rap, but two particular emcees have had major influences on his music. Lil Rey favored Puerto Rican rapper Big Pun. Pun paved the way for Latino rappers and Lil Rey has dreams to continue down his path. Pun’s lyrics inspire him when he is in his writing process. Pun’s life was cut short, so Lil Rey hopes to make it big and keep it going for all Boricuas in the world. His second major influence is a Philadelphia native rapper, Meek Mill. He came from nothing and brought life back to Philadelphia when he signed his deal to MMG. Meek demonstrates to Lil Rey that Philly rappers can make it out of the city and do big things. A dream isn’t anything unless you’re willing to chase it and turn it into a reality. Lil Rey is very hard working, has a passion for rap and always stays humble. He is as imposing as he is focused and talented. Gifted, creative and a self-proclaimed lyricist, he is claiming his place in the Hip Hop industry and aiming for the top of the charts. Roc discovered his knack for being a rapper when a friend asked him to sit in with their group. Un-relentless and daring, he made the music his own. Joining a local group named Total Kaos; Roc saw a loyal fan base spring up as they performed at various nightclubs, including the legendary club Pulsations in Concordville, PA. The hip-hop group went on to perform on several music tracks with Chuck Nice of the rap group “3 x Dope” and began to experience success. Eventually, Roc Monee felt the need to launch a solo career, which led him to sign with Judgment Records/RCA from 2000 to 2005. Although, this deal did not yield the promises that Roc would have hoped, he continued to persevere until RMD Entertainment CEO, Giorgio Costonis(who remembered Roc and his epic rhymes as part of Total Kaos), found out that Roc was looking for a label. RMD seized the opportunity and signed him. Roc released his debut album in 2006 titled “Diamond In The Rough.” From this album he unveiled his first music video for a song called “Overdrive” and can be seen on YouTube. Since then, he has gone on tour with Universal Recording Artists “The Ying Yang Twins” where he traveled throughout the United States to such places as California, Washington, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia and many others. He was also the opening act for “LL Cool J” at Zanzabar on the riverfront in Washington, D.C. All of Roc Monee’s music can be found on ITunes, Amazon and other popular Internet sites. His repertoire of music includes his song created for the Philadelphia Eagles called “Oop.” His newest hot singles to be released are “Ba-Dunk”, “Energy Live” and “Bring the Noise” (which has a rock and roll flare). Roc’s song for the Eagles was recognized by one of the area newspapers, The Daily Times. This song was recently submitted to the EA Sports Video Games Enterprise for consideration. Under Warner Brothers/RMD Entertainment since 2008, this talented artist not only writes his own lyrics but audiences are guaranteed an electrifying and captivating performance whenever Roc steps on the stage. Nevertheless, Roc has recently signed with ImmerSLO Records. Partnered with them, Roc will showcase his remarkable talents and unleash his amazing, hot new music. With much expectation, this next album is sure to catapult him into the limelight for which his raw talent deserves.
