Joshua Rodriguez, (born November 30, 1990), better known by his stage name Illa Noize formerly known as J-Rod Illa Noize, is a Puerto Rican-American producer, singer - songwriter, rapper, and musician. Multicultural, eclectic, and diverse, his musical influences span the globe while ranging from Dance, House, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, to Latin all helping to create his own unique signature sound. His production dexterity empowers him to successfully bridge the streets, to the clubs, to mainstream radio airplay. Upon the iTunes release of singles, “Get You Right,“ “Se Calienta,” people have praised his rhythmic rhymes, smooth delivery, and soulful singing. Born outside of Chicago, IL, he grew up loving music and thus learned the trumpet, tuba, piano, guitar, and drums and was soon performing professional recitals in the Chicago area. While attending Full Sail University, “One of the top 5 schools for music” according to Rolling Stones Magazines, he studied Recording Arts and Music Production. While at school and freelancing, he mastered production, songwriting, audio engineering, and audio mixing. His talent and hard work paid off when he was hired to work on albums such as, “XS’ – The New Born”, “Nobi’s – Grittylyf Edition V3 Special Ops Unit”, “AR - Go Hard Or Go Home” Mix Tape, and created the theme song for DJ Rico Smooth, a well known Florida DJ.
As he branched out in the engineer / production side, he also began to perform at Liquid Night Club in Orlando, Club Firestone in Orlando, TBC International Fashion Show at The Peabody Hotel, Tampa’s Club Vez, Plant City Planteen Recreation Center, and Orlando’s Natura Café. His debut Mixtape was released in September 2012, and features A.Dash, Evan Roberts, New Eraa (Eraa), Kid Famous, Young Kiddoe, Didda Joe, Nelix, K-Low, and many more. His music is also featured live on Orlando's biggest Hip-Hop and Top 40 Radio Station, 102 JAMZ. Priding himself in making every track a memorable and potential hit, Illa Noize certainly inspires, entertains, and makes a statement.
