Aware of her destiny from a very young age, Heather Brave was always motivated to perform. As a talented singer, songwriter, guitar player, pianist and actress, Heather Brave at 16 years old knows she is destined for a career in music.
As MTV Buzzworthy.com put it: We LOVE a good throwback here at Buzzworthy, so when we heard about Heather Brave's acoustic take on Britney Spears' classic 2000 jam "Oops I Did It Again," we fell every bit as in love as the first time we saw Britney rocking a skintight red bodysuit. In case you're not familiar with Heather's name and are all like, "Who is this and why is she covering my Britney," we'll go ahead and bring you up to speed. Aside from her perfectly sculpted Carly Rae Jepsen bangs, Heather is what you'd call a "quadrupedal threat," meaning she's a singer, songwriter, musician, and actress (she could also be an amazing dancer, for all we know -- we're guessing so with a résumé like that).
At just 5-years-old, Heather was already honing her talent and clamoring to get on stage. Just some of Heather’s career highlights include performing with Leann Rimes on Disney’s Macy’s Day Parade float as Princess Jasmine and portraying Felicity in the musical “Circle of Friends” at the American Girl Place in New York City. Heather’s network appearances include a variety of commercials and roles on Guiding Light, One Life to Live, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Heather is a spokesperson for Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) which is the world’s largest private source of funding for food allergy research. Both she and her sister live with very serious food allergies and this platform allows Heather the opportunity to increase awareness to help raise money and educate teachers and students about severe food allergies and how to live with them.
Heather Brave has been featured in numerous media outlets including Teen Kids News Network, 201 Family (cover), Ryan Seacrest Twitter and many other outlets. She performed at super-storm Hurricane Sandy, relief concert, Beyond The Storm held at Bergen Performing Arts Center where she helped to raise thousands of dollars to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
