Gregg Fulkerson was the lead singer/guitarist and main songwriter of melodic hard rock band Blue Tears and modern rock band Attraction 65 (actually an icarnation of Blue Tears). With Blue Tears he released four albums, the highly acclaimed Blue Tears in 1990, two collections of old material, Dancing in the Backstreets and Mad Bad and Dangerous, both in 2005, and finally the comeback album The Innocent Ones in 2006. Attraction 65 only released the self-titled debut in 2003. Gregg Fulkerson has co-written with Michael Sweet of Stryper for his first solo album and also wrote a song intended for Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell II that wasn't included in the final cut. The song is A Date with Destiny, finally released on the compilation Dancing in the Backstreets.
Greg Fulkerson was found dead in his Franklin, Tennessee apartment Tuesday evening, April 14, 2009. He was 44 years old.
Fulkerson is survived by his 8 year-old only son, Carter.
