Based out of Bristol, England, Girlboy Girl has been playing out their brand of noisy but sentimental female-fronted pop since their 1996 formation. Following their self-titled debut 7" in 1997, Girlboy Girl would release a handful of EPs on various labels while playing an acoustic side project under the moniker of Hewas.
