Ginnie Watson is an Anglo-French actor, singer-songwriter and presenter. Her actor training includes a full time 3-year theatre and screen acting course at the Cours Viriot, Paris; France and a 1-year post-graduate course at the International School of Screen Acting, London; UK. Ginnie vocally trained at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse, Dole; France for several years and has 12 years of ballet- modern jazz dance skills.
Ginnie sings, acts and presents internationally. She's recently finished filming '1, 2, 3 Pourquoi' a childrens' television program for Nickelodeon Junior France in Milan. Previews Summer 2013. In 2011 she worked with French filmmakers Arnaud Lemort in DEPRESSION ET DES POTES and Laurent Tirard in the latest of the ASTERIX films. She also produced her first short film, SHAG WOMEN SENSELESS as writer and director in London and took it to the Cannes Short Film Festival.
Alchemic melody is the fire in Ginnie’s musical work, inspiring her collaborations with renowned global artists and producers. Paris the early Noughties, saw her jumping professionally into the multi-genre music scene surrounding her. By 2004 she’d signed a record deal with EMI and released her first single, L’Envie, with her band Absinthe. Ginnie is currently collaborating with producers PAX and HiLo of the music label Made in Music and her first solo EP "Ginnie Watson Sings" released on August 7th, 2013 with music publisher Kendell Entertainment and Believe Digital distribution.
Ginnie sings and writes in both French and English, is perfectly bilingual and has an insatiable passion for evocative music and cool beats.
