A product from Uptown Manhattan with all odds against him to make something of himself, GDA made a change for the better. After surviving the mean streets of New York & many obstacles in his life, GDA made the right turn in his life. Discovering the ability to Rap, GDA worked on getting better by writing material everyday. Once he felt he was ready for the booth, he started recording and that's when "G-Thursday's" were born. By dropping freestyles every Thursdays for a number of months, his confidence grew, along with the awareness of his talents in the neighborhood and all social sites. The streets were ready for a complete project of GDA. October 31st "Midnight In Uptown" was released to the public. The response of the tape was what we expected and more, making easier to bring in 2012 with good momentum. Keeping his buzz alive, GDA dropped a couple "G-Thursday's" & was featured in a couple songs throughout the summer while working on "Good Morning Uptown". All that led to his first Performance ever, in Miami. With "Good Morning Uptown" being on high demand, the finishing touches were needed to be made. On December 6th the tape was finally out for the people to enjoy. GDA elevated to be at the top with the rest of the Artist from Uptown. After the release of the 2nd tape the buzz generated a lot, GDA was on high demand to go back to Miami and perform and he did. Then a discussion led to the birth of "Matte Black". Matte Black is a 6 Track EP all produced by Red Army Music. The EP is due to be released on March 15th. People should expect more growth and a newer sound from GDA.
