About Gammacide

Comprising vocalist Varnam Ponville, guitarists Scott Shelby and Rick Perry, bassist Eric Roy, and drummer Jamey Milford, Arlington, TX, band Gammacide emerged during the late-'80s thrash metal craze and managed just one album, 1989's Victims of Science, before going their separate ways. Guitarist Perry later joined an industrial metal band called Puncture, while Ponville and Shelby moved to Louisiana and formed another thrash group, Cauldron, releasing a pair of late-'90s albums. Gammacide's sole LP, Victims of Science, would be reissued in 2004 with six bonus tracks. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
