The collaboration of AJ Mogis (bass), Mike Mogis (guitar), Jason Evans (guitar), Jason Christensen (vocals), and Jason Carper (drums) resulted in the jumbled up noise of Fun Chicken. Hailing from the backwoods community of North Platte, NE, a feel of jazz, punk, funk, and metal fusion developed into their set without specifically fitting into one genre. The outside comparisons of Mr. Bungle came about by the time the band self-released their one and only EP, I'm Drinking Your Spinal Fluid, in 1993. But by the time Ismist Records picked up its distribution, Fun Chicken had already broken up, with the Mogis brothers moving on to Lullaby for the Working Class. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
