About Faculty

Rapper, producer, and frontman Jesto (born Neil Mathis II) founded Southern rap group the Faculty with members Ro-Stylez, Currency, and Judo in the late '90s. The Atlanta-based crew hit up many of the local clubs before being discovered by newly formed label JamTam Entertainment, who acquired the quartet as its first signees in 2001. With a guest appearance from old-school veteran Father MC, Faculty's sole album, Group Therapy, was first released later that year and then reissued the following year via Orchard Records. ~ Cyril Cordor, Rovi
