Self-taught composer and pianist. He cannot precise when his love for music was born. What he can say without a doubt is that it has been the way to show what God is in his life.
In 1990 he composed the music for the play El maleficio de la mariposa, by Federico García Lorca. Throughout the next 15 years he participated as a composer and musician in several documentaries and plays, among these: Así que pasen cinco años and El Amor de don Perlimplín con Belisa en su jardín, both by García Lorca; El caballero de la triste figura, loosely based on Don Quijote de la Mancha, by Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra; and El diablo en la luna, by Richard Kalinosky. His musical works were heard in some of the most important theaters in Puerto Rico, such as Teatro La Perla, in Ponce; Centro de Bellas Artes, in Santurce; Teatro Tapia, in San Juan; and Centro de Bellas Artes, in Guaynabo.
Elín now presents his first musical production, A Dream: Songs from the Fields of Hope, in which he leads us to understand that leaving our past life behind, we are renewed and reformed in our original state: the image of God.
