Listed in Music Connection Magazine as "one of the best unsigned bands to see live" and California's 2011 Hard Rock Cafe Battle of the Bands Champs, Elaine Faye & The Big Bang are an up-and-coming soul shakin', groove makin, alt-soul band based out of Los Angeles, CA. With a sound combination of Amy Winehouse, Sam and Dave, and Fitz and the Tantrums, The Big Bang has hit the local scene with a unique take on southern California soul and are carving out an name for themselves in the local music community.

Finishing their last year of education at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA, the band became friends and started developing their diverse image and unique sound which can now be heard on numerous local/internet radio stations (Kiss FM in NYC and Utica), in the air (Delta Airlines radio), and on TV (VH1's Mob Wives, Single Ladies, Love and Hip Hop, MTV's Jersey Shores, Bravo's Gallery Girls, Lifetime’s Dance Moms, the CW morning news, the Style Networks Ruby, and many more).

The band had the opportunity this past year to get groovy at Bonnaroo, Coachella, Make Music Pasadena, KIIS FM's Wango Tango music festival, and a private event held by the Recording Academy. Constantly hitting the road with a high-energy, interactive show, the band has opened for many talented artists, including Nikka Costa, Lights, The Arkells, Honey Honey, and the Day Lights. With a growing and dedicated fan base, they continue to build a strong buzz with each show they funk up.

The positive attention recieved by their latest single, Justify, has set high expectations for 2013. The band has one EP released by lead singer, Elaine Faye, and are currently working on a new album set to launch under Elaine Faye & The Big Bang in spring/summer 2013.
