About Eggtooth

Eggtooth is a band name adopted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Moris Tepper (a veteran of Captain Beefheart's Magic Band) for the 1995 album Sundowner, released in Japan on Polystar Records. Tepper explained that he called the band Eggtooth because it was a "folk-alt" side project. Other musicians playing in this one-off ensemble included Miiko, David Phillips, Christian Teele, Phil Teele, and Michael Tempo. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
