Ed Tullett, born October 20, 1993, Oxford, is an English musician and singer-songwriter signed to Equal Vision Records.
Tullett began writing, recording and producing his debut album Never Joy in August and September 2011, which he then self-released in November through Bandcamp on CD and digital download. Tullett developed a cult following after the release of his debut album and was consequently signed by record label Equal Vision Records on 2 November 2012. His debut, self-released album, Never Joy was remastered by Christopher Brickman from Tallhart, another artist on Equal Vision Records, and will be given a world-wide release by the label on 4 December 2012. In August 2012 Bon Iver held a competition called 'Stems Project', where the public were offered the chance to remix their second studio album Bon Iver (album). Tullett was a winner of the competition for his remix of 'Hinnom, TX', which went on to be featured on the exclusive Spotify remix release of the album. In July 2012, Tullett wrote and recorded his Trawl EP which was released on November 6, 2012, via HYPE Music in partnership with MTV.
