About Dru Cutler
Cutler went on to play with several bands in the Tampa area before going on to earn his degree in Music Composition at the University of South Florida, while working full time as a stage performer at Busch Gardens, performing in popular shows like "Mo' Rock 'n Roll." During this time, he formed a band called Lush Progress, his first serious musical effort, which went on tour, and whose award-winning video, "Even Now" has received more than 60,000 views to date.
Nominated for the New York Innovative Theater Award for Best Original Music in 2011, Cutler conceived, produced, and edited his video "You and Me and the System," funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign. He's performed at a range of venues including Avery Fisher Hall, and scored a film called Burgerlution, which was selected for the NYC Food Film Festival. Cutler lives in Brooklyn, in a sketchy section of Bushwick (is there any other kind?), composes for the new web series "Marriage & Other Tragedies," and studies with lauded songwriter Jeff Franzel. He also works as a trainer for Apple. Please don't ask him why you're iPhone's not working.
