“The songs I write are about my life, friends, family and people I’ve met along the way, most of my inspiration comes from my everyday experiences.”
The beginning of his career started In 2008 with the release of his debut mixtape titled Audio Hustlaz Vol. 1, presented by DJ Skee. Later that year Demrick released the Homeland Security mixtape, a collaboration with then Shady/Interscopes’ artist Ca$his. Homeland Security was hosted by DJ Whoo Kid, featuring tracks with Royce Da 5’9, Crooked I & Freeway among others.
In 2009, Demrick was featured on B-Real’s solo album Smoke N Mirrors, appearing on 5 songs including the single "Don’t Ya Dare Laugh". In mid 09’, Demrick appeared on DJ Muggs' Souls Assassins Intermissions album landing over 2,000,000 hits on Youtube with the 1st single "Figure It Out". The success of that song has lead to him touring with Xzibit for the past three years.
In 2010, Cypress Hill released their 8th studio album titled Rise Up on EMI’s Priority Records featuring Demrick on the street single "It Ain’t Nothin". Touring with Cypress, he performed at festivals in Europe such as Rock am Ring and Rockin Rio.
In 2011, Xzibit and Demrick created a music catalog for the company Extreme Music/Sony ATV titled Urban Ammo 2. The videos for singles "Man On The Moon" & "What It Is" recieved daily rotation on MTV. In mid 2011, Demrick released his EP titled Neva Look Back produced solely by Scoop DeVille. The EP had three singles "What’s Good", "Ready 2 Go" & "What’s Good Remix".
In the begining of 2012, Demrick was featured on the Cypress X Rusko Collaborative EP. Later in the year Demrick dropped his latest project All the Wrong Things Produced by The Makers (The production duo behind "Teach Me How to Dougie") Featuring songs "Bitty in My Bed" and "Day Dreaming".
Early into 2013, Demrick has hit the ground running. Fresh off of Xzibits international tour Collateral Damage, Demrick released All The Wrong Things 2 in mid April. This project includes production from Jim Jonsin, Danny Morris, Current, Finatik N Zac, and Mike One. Now, he heads back into the studio with up and coming producer Current (Who has worked with artists such as Chris Brown and Kid Cudi) to create his best work to date.
