Death on Wednesday add a dose of dark introspection to their brand of SoCal punk rock. Composed of guitarist/vocalist Nate Lawler, bassist Kevin Clark, drummer Joel Ronomoe and guitarist Hunter Zinkil, Death on Wednesday signed with the SideCho label and recorded their debut album. Produced by Trever Keith of Face to Face, Buying the Lie was released in the fall of 2000. Three years later, the band released Songs To __ To. Due to much demand Nate and Kevin decided to restart Death on Wednesday, so they enlisted Joel Ronomoe of the Die Hunns and Hunter Zinkil from Guttermouth for the new lineup. They have since signed with Chanl Records and are back at it, making music and playing select shows until an expected fall release of some new material. "Death On Wednesday's music was held up in the wake of their last record label's demise and the fans left wondering what happened to the band. Now recently signed to Chanl Records, Death On Wednesday is re-releasing their material so it can finally see it's much deserved exposure. Get ready new music is coming soon!!!"
