Colette Carr (born January 6, 1991), is an American musician based in Malibu and Los Angeles, California. She is signed to Cherrytree Records. Carr released her debut single, "Back It Up", in 2009. On August 13, 2010, she released her first mixtape, "Sex Sells Stay Tooned". Her debut album, Skitszo, a collection of previously released digital EP's, released on July 9, 2013, The lead single from the album is called "(We Do It) Primo". A promotional single, "Sex (feat. New Boyz) was released prior to the albums release. Carr also released "Like I Got A Gun" as the second single. "Never Gonna Happen" the fifth single released from Skitszo, reached #11 on Billboards Dance-Club Chart.
Colette hosts her own radio show on CherryTreeRadio.com, titled "The Colette Carr Pool." In addition to her music career, Carr co-owns a retail travel store "Coca-Nico" with her sister Nicole. The "Coca-Nico" store opened in December 11, 2010 in San Francisco, CA.

Carr originally was a competitive tennis player, until an injury involving her back led her to be unable to play anymore. "I was either going to become paralyzed and continue playing or stop and find a new destination for myself," says Carr. Music was also a passion for Carr, "I was obsessed with music growing up. I had my walkman on 24/7. I would write lyrics and song titles all over my walls in sharpie. I was extremely consumed," said Carr.
2009-10: Career beginnings:
Discovered at a Game concert, Carr volunteered to go on stage when host comedian Stroy Moyd, asked the audience if anyone could freestyle. The audience reacted positively to Carr, screaming "Go white girl". Carr gained the attention of the audience, and various producers, including The Cataracs, who produced various songs for her. Carr released her debut single, "Back It Up" in 2009, which quickly became a viral success. The music video, directed by Richie Mac, received more than 465,000 views on MTV Music networks MTVU channel, charting top 10 video of the week. Carr was signed to N'credible, by Nick Cannon. In 2010, Carr released promotional single "Bitch Like Me", accompanied with video directed by Jonathan Singer-Vine, and her first mix-tape "Sex Sells Stay Tooned", with over 100,000 downloads in its first few months. On March 28, 2010 Carr performed at the 2010 Bamboozle Music Festival in California.
2011-present: Skitszo & Second Mixtape:
Skitszo, Carr's debut album on Cherrytree Records officially released July 9, 2013. Colette Carr, an artist who is so improvisational and in-the-moment, released music prior to official release while completing Skitszo. Carr, and Martin Kierszenbaum founder and Chairman of Pop Alternative label Cherrytree Records, made newly recorded music accessible for fans to purchase digitally on music streaming sites such as Spotify, iTunes and Amazon, to match the unique delivery method to her audience with her spirit and flow, making Colette's music available to her fans as fast as she recorded it. Fans who preordered the album were able to download the tracks before the official album release, as four digital EPs. "Skitszo" the title of the album is a tribute to her schizophrenic uncle Robin, Carr's favorite uncle. "(We Do It) Primo" the first single was released on May 11, 2011, reaching the number-one spot on Billboard's Uncharted Artists chart. "Sex" (feat. New Boyz), was released on December 13, 2011. Carr released "F16" April 2012, produced by Frankmusik on Sound Cloud and YouTube. "Like I Got A Gun", was released June 1st, and premiered on CherrytreeRadio.com that same day. "Why Are You Leaving?" featuring Far East Movement's Kev Nish was released on January 8th, 2013. "Never Gonna Happen" released on March 5th, the single remixed by Dave Aude charted on Billboards Dance-Club songs at #11.
Carr is planning on releasing her second mixtape called "Going, Going HAM", sometime during 2014. She issued a track from the mixtape, via Sound Cloud called "HAM" featuring artist Ben J from Hip Hip duo New Boyz, co-written by Nate Walka and Jon Redwine produced by Marley Waters . Carr released and premiered the music video for 'HAM', On popular American radio personality, television host, and producer Ryan Secrest site RyanSeacrest.com September 13, 2013.

Carr is featured on Frankmusik's single "No I.D." from his second album Do It in the AM Carr co-wrote and featured on "Take U Home" released 12/21/2010, by Canadian band Stereos Carr collaborated with the Peruvian band, Adammo, for their album titled Tiempos Violentos In May 2012. She had a featured part on the song, "Caminando (Canciones Del Ayer)". Carr collaborated with singer The Lady Tigra for her album called S.P.O.R.K! In August 2012. Carr had a featured part on the single, "Pick Your Boogie" Carr Collaborated with American singer Porcelain Black on the Skitszo album track "Told You So" produced by Red One Carr also has collaborated with The Good Natured and released a song called "Christmas Wrapping".
