About City Spud

Lavell Webb (born August 31, 1975) known by his stage name City Spud, is a member of the rap music group St. Lunatics. Life edit: He's featured on Nelly's hit single "Ride Wit Me." In 1999 was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for armed robbery (prosecutors dismissed a first-degree assault charge). Nelly and the St. Lunatics campaigned for his release. They titled their group album Free City to support the release of City Spud from prison. He was released from prison, after serving 9 years, in 2008. He is now reunited with Nelly and the St. Lunatics and is recording with them for the new St. Lunatics album entitled City Free.
