These words may sound like the lyrics to a song or a phrase in a stanza of poetry. However, they are far more than simple adjectives. These words represent the life and testimony of Christopher LeMark.Born in 1979, Christopher LeMark is no stranger to trials. Abandoned at the age of three, his earliest memories are of a painful past that lasted from 1982-1994. He was temporarily placed with relatives but his never knowing and understanding unconditional love drove a wedge in his relationship with family which eventually led to him being shuffled between group homes and shelters.
Upon adulthood, Christopher met a young woman that would change the course of his life. She showed him the love of Christ, the agape love that his soul was yearning for. She became his friend and they developed a relationship centered on Christ. She encouraged him to attend church, and although hesitant in the beginning, Christopher attended and in 1997 accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
As Christopher grew in his faith, he began to write his feelings in poetry and songs which would eventually become his diary through rap music. Holding no regrets, Christopher has let go of the past. In 2005 Christopher began to lose hope and struggled with his faith and by 2009 he changed his previous stage name from Focus1 to his birth name "Christoper LeMark. He wanted to be the same person he was off stage even it that was a contradiction to what he believed in. He wanted to create honest and more though provoking music. Music that would relate to every human being not just those who believe in Christ.
Today, Christopher is Chasing forward towards his musical and life goals of becoming one of hip hops leading MC's to help advocate youth and community growth through music and faith. Christopher has let go of the past. He has forgiven those who have taken advantage of him, those who have used him, and those that did not love him. Most importantly, because God has forgiven him, he has forgiven himself for bad habits, attitudes, and actions.
