About Chris Chace
Born into a family of artists, CHRIS CHACE spent much of his early childhood traveling the world, living in hotels and singing his favorite Disney tunes on stage in nightclubs where he probably should not have been allowed in the door. One would often find him sitting on his father’s lap at a European casino, learning to play cards and picking up sleight of hand from his father’s friends. When CHRIS finally attended an elementary school, his eccentric style and penchant for cologne acquired on the road was rather unexpected among his young classmates.
After losing his father at a young age, CHRIS learned to play the piano by watching his grandmother play songs from a musical she had composed. Soon after, he was writing songs of his own about the ever-changing world around him. It was during his four years at a military academy that Chris began to find his voice as a songwriter.
CHRIS moved to Austria to write music and to continue his studies in international diplomacy in the local German language. A variety of misadventures led him from Europe’s poshest hotspots to sleeping alone in the streets of Venice to narrowly escaping a wrongful arrest crossing the Bulgarian border on the pretense of being a spy. When faced with the decision on whether or not to return to the U.S. and devote his life to his music, CHRIS chose to let fate decide. He bet on his lucky number at the roulette wheel. And it hit.
CHRIS CHACE was selected as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for his song “See You Smile.” His song “Better Days” made #4 Rock Song, #2 Alternative Rock Song and #8 Song in California on the Broadjam Music Charts. When CHRIS CHACE crossed paths with legendary producer ToneDef (Green Day, Santana, Chris Isaak), he found the perfect person to help realize the vision for the music he spent the better part of his life creating.
Look out for CHRIS CHACE. He’s coming.
