Charlie O'Neill

Pop starlet ‘Charlie’ aka 20 year old Charlie O’Neill has been singing and performing from a very young age. Drawing inspiration from a range of styles, she sites performers from jazz act Julie London to pop songstress Christina Aguilera as inspiration. Her eclectic tastes coupled with a fresh, vibrant and soulful vocal style have shaped this youngster into a formidable and unique recording artist. Signed to ‘Just another Label Ltd’, she is currently working alongside producers such as George Shilling [Oasis, James Brown, The Corrs, Gabrielle], Austin Reynolds [Just Another Label/Maverick Records] & NJC [Ambiel Music].

Perfectly complementing her fun, radio and dance floor friendly sound, Charlie really shows her skills as an all-round performer when she takes to the stage, not only belting out sublime vocals, but showing off her moves as a competitive Disco Freestyle & Hip Hop Dancer. She has competed in some of the largest dance competitions across the UK, achieving many awards and making finals in The North East Slow Dancer of the year competition. Having performed at some of the best dance halls in the UK such as The Tower and Wintergardens, it is plain to see where Charlie has perfected the confidence and ease that she brings to the stage.

Vocally, she originally recognised her talents as a bubbly five year old with a penchant for Disney tunes. Even at such a young age, her voice was extremely powerful and Charlie found she had a genuine passion for singing, leading to the realisation that performing is what she was born to do.

Charlie honed her vocal skills at Stratford-upon-Avon College where she studied for a National Diploma in performing Arts achieving 3 distinction grades and studying core subjects such as singing, musical theatre and acting. Also Charlie has perfected her dance moves achieving qualifications in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary dance where she has trained with some of the best choreographers in the country such as Samantha & Christian Williams. All this, coupled with a hot, glamorous look allows her too really stand-out, as an ascending Pop diva!
