About Chandler Carter
"My experience I had auditioning for The Voice gave me the confidence I needed to really put myself out there and share my talents. At first, I was only sharing my talent with a few select friends, but after my audition, I was pumped and I wanted everyone2 to hear me sing!"
Chandler took her first step in showing her talent to the world via the internet. She entered Nick Cooper’s online talent search via Talenthouse, and was awarded Handpicked Finalist. Commenting on this accomplishment:
“My first real online exposure was through Nick Cooper’s contest. In order to win and gain recognition within it (the contest), you had to have people vote for you; so I took to Facebook and Twitter to share the links."
In 2012, Chandler released her first single, the anti-bullying anthem, Go Easy. Following shortly after, Chandler released her second single, Can’t Stop. Can’t Stop climbed to significant heights, specifically in Italy. Chandler reached #1 on Rockstar Motel’s Top Independent Artists chart, (which included Adele at #2 and Ryan Beatty in the third spot), and #3 on Rockstar Motel’s Top Independent Songs chart.
In 2013, Chandler released her third single, Moonlight.
"Listening to my first two songs and then listening to Moonlight, there’s somewhat of a growth and maturation from pop to more of a soulful style. I’m starting to evolve and really discover my voice, and find MY sound. I’m falling into who I want to be as an artist and it’s such an amazing experience.”
Chandler hopes to have music guide her and open multiple opportunities to give back to the community.
"I like doing things for more than just myself. There’s no point in gathering a fan base if you aren’t going to help them in anyway you can or give them opportunities to help others.”
