Casino Madrid is the latest band to join the Artery Recordings roster, the joint venture between The Artery Foundation and Razor & Tie. The San Diego band is the ninth addition to the Artery Recordings family.
Forming in late 2007, six friends from San Diego came together and formed Casino Madrid. Showcasing their blend of Electronic/Trance and Metalcore, these guys have one goal in mind, to prove that they belong. After self-releasing their debut EP “For Kings & Queens” in early 2009, it became an underground sensation with over 2,000 physical copies sold and 20,000 single downloads. Joe Demaio (vocals) states the importance of the self-produced record “We wanted a record that related to people in a certain way. This world consists of the constant need for royalty and endless struggle. It’s the story of our lives building from the ground up”.

In 2011, the group signed to Artery Recordings/Razor & Tie and will hit the studio with Will Putney this May at the Machine Shop (For Today, Upon A Burning Body, Suicide Silence). Talking more about their live show, Demaio states “I want everyone to take a journey inside my crazy mind lyrically and open them up to a world they won’t find from any other band.”

Casino Madrid will release their debut Artery Recordings record Robots on October 11th, 2011.
Casino Madrid is comprised of Joe Demaio (vocals), Marcelo Sedano (guitar/vocals), Armani Sanchez (guitar), Travis Knutz (bass), Rob Cesena (keys/synth/programming) and Johhny Thunder (drums).
