Caddy Kartel combines group members Yuck (Raymond Ramirez), Stretch (Robert Ramirez) and Thrill (Joe Rivera); all 3 brothers who were raised in the great state of Texas. Caddy Kartel hit the industry strong and started performing at car shows, networking events and talent competitions. They also tapped into philanthropy work by helping raise money and awareness for charities that cater to the betterment of kids. Caddy Kartel unselfishly donates their time and gifts to the Boys and Girls Club and Toys for Tots organizations in several cities and towns in Texas. In 2006, Caddy Kartel and Mike Jones performed at the Hip Hop Cafe Houston Public Library; inspiring the young generation towards education. Caddy Kartel recreated the Backpack song by Dora the Explorer to help raise money for children in need of school supplies for 94.5 The Buzz. All of their hard work paid off and soon they caught a big break when they joined and performed at one of the largest premier car shows events in the United States, the “Los Magnificos Wego Tour.” Since their break into the music game, Caddy Kartel has been blessed to work with some of the best in the entertainment industry. This includes: Super Producer “TA”, world renown mastering by Kevin Nix at L Nix Mastering in Memphis, TN, Web work by Joe Williams of Critikil Inc. In 2009, the group had the distinct honor of opening up for Lil Wayne at the American Bank Convention with Hot Z-95 in Corpus Christi, Texas. This performance catapulted a huge buzz and music industry insiders started to take notice. After their successful performance at Lil Wayne’s concert, Caddy Kartel continued to opened up for other mainstream artists such as Pitbull, David Banner, UGK, Ludacris, TI, Slim Thug, Devin the Dude, Ice Cube and many others. Spending the last 2 years building their brand ,Caddy Kartel has garnered local and regional praise as well as becoming one of the top 5 finalists for the nationally syndicated “Rod Ryan Show” jingle contest for 94.5 The Buzz. As talented as Caddy Kartel is, they have tapped into creating jingles and commercials for "Rod Ryan Morning Show", “H-Town Bail bonds" and the undisputed pro boxers "The Charlo Twins." Caddy Kartel came close to performing at the 2014 SXSW as they were one of the very few artists that applied and were placed On Hold notification. Caddy Kartel® started their own record label, Suffocation Records and independently released their debut album Escape, which was released through ITunes and Amazon.com. In 2011, the music video release of “Hottie Girl” pushed their sound to a greater level of noted individuality as they reached the music realm of Hip-hop-pop. As Caddy Kartel’s music transcends from one song to the next, it is clear that they bring all the elements of music to the table. Their sound is more than what fits into one genre. “We are entertaining; our music is motivational and unique. Our music allows people to escape the lethargy of everyday life.
