A former teen model and dancer, Betty Moon took the Toronto music scene by storm upon her arrival. She sold over 10,000 DIY records within a few short months, all while still in school. The buzz caught the attention of A&M/Universal, who quickly signed Betty to a deal and crowned her as Canada's resident Lady of Rock.
Now residing in sunny Los Angeles, Betty is ready to bring her unique brand of music to the masses on a global scale.
Over the past twenty years, she has amassed legions of devoted fans by crafting edgy modern rock music that captivates listeners with a powerful, sultry vocal that evokes female rock legends such as Chrissie Hynde and Grace Slick.
After relocating to Tinseltown in 2010, Betty Moon released her fifth album “Rollin’ Revolution,” and became a local favorite on L.A.’s famed radio powerhouse KROQ. Moon’s command of the stage has made her a staple of The Sunset Strip, where she regularly performs at iconic venues such as The Roxy and Whisky a Go Go.
In 2014, Moon unveiled her latest studio album “AMOURPHOUS,” a self-produced LP featuring Grammy Award-winning mix engineer Chris Lord-Alge on the boards. The album features singles “Ladder,” “Valentine,” and “Amourphous,” which Moon debuted live as a featured artist at the world famous Sunset Strip Music Festival alongside Marilyn Manson, Quiet Riot, and Black Label Society.
Betty Moon is currently booking tour dates for late Spring and Summer 2014.
