A thrash band from Brazil with an old-fashioned style, Arnion made their album debut in 2008. Founded in 2003 in Goiânia, Goiás, the band was originally comprised of Pedro Neto (vocals), Túlio Caetano (guitar), Rinaldo Macedo (guitar), Leonardo Araújo (bass), and Rogério Paulo (drums). Neto and Caetano, both also members of the Goiânia-based metal band Maximum Pentecost, were eventually replaced by Carlos "Carlão" Henrique (vocals) and Rafael Teles (guitar). Following some initial demo recordings, Arnion made their full-length album debut in 2008 with Fall Like Rain on the Brazilian label Silent Music Records. Noted for its throwback style reminiscent of thrash metal of the 1980s and '90s, Fall Like Rain was released internationally by Retroactive Records in 2009 with the previously released Refuge EP added as a bonus. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
