Arnett Hollow is an indie rock band based out of Louisville, Kentucky, consisting of Chris Rodahaffer, Cheyenne Mize, Dave Chandler, Mike Dufresne, and Rob Edwards. History: Arnett Hollow plays bluegrass, old time, and world music. Arnett Hollow's second album, Night After Night, finds the band digging deeper into their musical roots. Recorded in Nashville, TN, with Grammy Award-winning engineer Phil Harris, Night After Night shows the band moving further away from their traditional influences and into their own, unique sound. Jeffery Lee Puckett of the Louisville Courier-Journal writes "Calling Arnett Hollow a bluegrass band is more about convenience than accuracy. Even the 'newgrass' tag doesn't cut it, although the band certainly has ties to and roots in both genres." Since the release of their debut album After the Rain in 2007, Arnett Hollow has expanded its regional presence--being featured on the cover of Louisville Music News and performing for the Kentucky Homefront radio broadcast on WFPK, as well as the Homegrown Music Series at 4th Street Live! in Louisville. In 2009, Arnett Hollow was invited to be a part of the Silver Jews' historic final show at the Cumberland Caverns, where Nashville Scene blog The Spin stated, "the five-piece performed a solid set of tightly arranged songs, each containing the requisite amount of swift-fingered Louisville shredding." The show was broadcast on June 27 on the legendary WSM Radio. The band most recently performed at the Forecastle Festival for the second year in a row. Arnett Hollow consists of Mike Dufresne (vocals/double bass), Chris Rodahaffer (vocals/guitar), Cheyenne Marie Mize (vocals/fiddle), Rob Edwards (percussion), and Dave Chandler (vocals/guitar). The members of Arnett Hollow have shared stages with Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Ben Sollee, Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket, Days of the New, the Fervor, Zongo, Apollo Sunshine, and The Cairo Gang. When not playing with Arnett Hollow, Mike and Rob also tour with Days of the New. Members: Chris Rodahaffer, Cheyenne Mize, Rob Edwards, Mike Dufresne, Dave Chandler
